Karuna Nundy On Sec 66A Judgment!

In the third talk of the Vidhi Great Cases Series, Karuna Nundy speaks about her experience in the landmark case of Shreya Singhal v. Union of India, that struck down Section 66A of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and dealt with larger issues of freedom of speech and censorship. In this iconic case, Ms. Nundy appeared on behalf of the People's Union for Civil Liberties (PUCL), an NGO that defends civil liberties and human rights.

She has an Economics degree from St. Stephen's College, Delhi University, a law degree from the University of Cambridge, and an LL.M. from Columbia Law School. She specialises in commercial dispute resolution and human rights litigation.
